Welcome to the Industrial Engineering department of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The IE department was founded at 2006 enrolling 56 undergraduate students in its first year. In 2010, the first MS students were admitted to the program. Our 9 fulltime faculty members include 4 Associate and 5 Assistant professors. In addition 5 faculty members from the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Management and Applied Mathematics are in close collaboration with the IE department. The department currently has 280 undergraduate, 40 MS and 5 PhD students.
